Q: activator vs CAT tool?
Is there a real difference between the activator adjustment tool and the chiropractic adjustment tool?
To me i see the CAT tool is much smaller, but the activator IV ez grip looks just like the CAT tool?
A: they are actually the same thing almost. The difference is that the Activator has been tested on by independent and bias researchers. All agree neutral, against it and for it that activator adjustment tool does work.
@happy: you have had many chiropractors…that worries me as a health professional. It seems you like to jump ship.
Q: CHIROPRACTIC NECK ADJUSTMENTS?
do they hurt? I wanna start doing the hand manipulation to see if it works better than tools. The cracking does scare me, and I’m worried about the pain… is there any pain when they do it? or am I just over reacting?
A: I really must ask you why you think that you need this service? There are appropriate times for adjustments but most of the time they are not needed. If you are doing an appropriate exercise program then it should not be needed. If an adjustment is so good then why is it that they are constantly needed? The answer is in the muscles and not the vertebrae. The muscles pull on the vertebrae and if they are brought into proper balance then one doesn’t need the adjustment. Work on proper form with your program and make sure that it is balanced in a correct way. Seek professional advice on how to do your program.
